The e-book tells the arguments for all of the eight reasons.
The most important reason is that Danish immigration and deportation policy violates human rights, and violates the Rule of Law for foreign citizens, including refugees and asylum seekers, who don’t have a legal permission to stay in Denmark.

The eight reasons for closing the centres are:

  1. Human Rights and the Rule of Law and due Process are violated
  2. Neither the Departure Centres nor Ellebæk serve a meaningful Purpose
  3. The Departure Centres and Ellebæk Cause Mental Illness
  4. The Departure Centres increase risks of Criminalisation, Crimes and Drug Abuse
  5. The Departure Centres increase Risk of Radicalisation
  6. The Departure Centres, Ellebæk are costly for Denmark and for the Human Beings the Centres are destroying
  7. Long Sentences for Breaches of Reporting Duties put Pressure on the Police, Prisons, and Courts
  8. The Neighbours to Departure Centres want them closed down
